Default row row row your boat...

Villain is tight, something like 15/6/2. He likes to semi-bluff, and does it alot. He has also r/f a few times.

If he has been paying attention, I have been folding a lot.

3/6 Limit Holdem Ring game

Pre-flop: (6 players) Hero is CO with J[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] A[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img]
2 folds, <font color="#cc0000">Hero raises</font>, 2 folds, BB calls.

Flop: A[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] 3[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] A[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] (4.67SB, 2 players)
<font color="#cc0000">BB bets</font>, Hero calls.

Turn: T[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] (3.33BB, 2 players)
<font color="#cc0000">BB bets</font>, <font color="#cc0000">Hero raises</font>, <font color="#cc0000">BB 3-bets</font>, Hero calls.

River: 3[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] (9.33BB, 2 players)
<font color="#cc0000">BB bets</font>, <font color="#cc0000">Hero raises</font>, <font color="#cc0000">BB 3-bets</font>, Hero calls.

Results:
Final pot: 15.33BB

i dont think the river raise has value. doubtful that you arent splitting after a 15/6/2 guy 3-bets the turn.

i think your hand is better, relatively, on the turn than it is on the river. i dont see why you would wait until your kicker doesn't play to raise.

Thanks Miles.

Villain had ATo ftw.

Looking back raising the river is so pointless. I thought he had TT though...

And in a later hand, I raise UTG, HJ (40/20) 3 balls, CO (40/15) cold calls 3, and he caps from the SB with AJo! AP is spaztastic!

If you were in the BB with TT and a TAG raised from the CO, would you call and c/r flop or 3bet preflop?

I'd cap the turn, your A is bigger most of the times.
