If you're folding op's for 1 raise on any ragged flop it becomes easy to exploit you.

thats not really the point. weak tight nits aren't exploiting anybody. If he's truly tag then you should call here.

who was it?

also, you can't checkraise the river without playing the turn, to the person who had that in their plan.

let's think about what the normal range of cold calling for a person that tight is. give him all pocket pairs and... maybe AQ or something retarded like that?

pretend he never mixes it up.

say he reraises with JJ+ most likely, you're losing to 99, 55 and 66 clearly. 22, 33, 44 aren't raising unless he's tricky, and you didn't say he was tricky. nor is 77 or 88. so you're going to get no further action most likely from TT-JJ, maybe QQ if he's a real nit and you call here.

so hands you're beating are stopping giving you money and hands you are losing to are doubling... not seeming great. i kinda like a fold against someone this tight and predictable. many really tight guys just call here on teh flop with the small overpairs and see if you fire again, too.

i really dont see this as terrible. i think its close to fold/call here, but i think shoving is bad because TT-QQ dont look you up very often if you shove IMO. your more likely to see 55/66 if your called.

i'm currently running at about 15/12 and sometimes i'll smooth call AA/KK on the button, but will normally re-pop. The thing about Villain's raise is it seems he wants to end the hand on the flop.

I don't think villain puts you on any sort of s8 draw and there's no flushes out there, so I really don't think he's protecting his hand. The only other hand I can see is maybe 65s, but that's pretty doubtful.

I really think villain is putting you on OCs and trying to end things. He can have a low pocket pair or a higher one, but I think aces are goot here.

I would probably call, then lead turn for $150ish. that's going to committ villain. I hate to be the guy who won't fold AA, but it just feels like the right play here.

Re-raise to $200 and fold to a push. Freeze the ball in my opinion. You will get 1010 and A9 out of there, but will immediately know if he has a set, two pair, or the nuts. Fold to any raise and be done if he call the $102 more.
