I was going to play a couple sets too and thought the better of it. I just took a shower to cool off and climbed in bed with the wife. I also wouldn't let her watch the news in case sports came on - now I just have to avoid sportscenter for the next day and pretend it didn't happen.

Anyone have a good solution for eye strain?

Ive been playing on a CRT a lot of late, and now even short sessions screw up my eyes and makes me struggle to focus.

This may be a very old topic, but has anyone had the disappearing button thing happen to them any time lately. I was just 6 tabling the speeds and it destroyed me. I had virtually no time to make my plays, because the timer started immediately. I had buttons disappearing several times. I had to restart the party client I think seven times to make it thru the set. I cursed, screamed and pushed my way to a 1st and a 3rd to salvage this particular set, but I am am now wondering if it is "safe" to play?

i played around 100 yesterday 9 tabling cont and had no issues

Yes. But only the preselect buttons disappear for me. The actual buttons always show up.

I'd much rather blame party poker, but could this be a function of my cpu's weak processor/memory?

I ask that knowing that I played 76 on Friday 6 tabling continiously with zero problems, so I am kinda clueless here.
