Join the Stars-Almost-Busto-SNG-Challenge!
After 2 years of sun,surf and sex in Thailand and playing fulltime poker for a living grinding out small stakes SNG I am busto!
Ok I am not busto but almost busto. I still have exactly 343.70$ in my Stars account. So before I start selling sunglasses at the beach [img]/images/graemlins/cool.gif[/img] I try the following challenge to rebuild my bankroll: 343$ are over 21 buyins for the 16$ turbos. I play 100 with the goal of 20% ROI. After that I play 100 27$ turbos and hope to make 15% ROI. If I am not busto after this I will play 100 60$ turbos and hope to make 10% ROI. I try to finish the challenge with the 114$ turbos and guesstimate 5% ROI. I played over 5k SNG so far but I have almost no experience at SNG over 100$. (I only like to berate 530$ players for their play like all jealous small stakes player [img]/images/graemlins/grin.gif[/img]). But how different can it be from the homegames... [img]/images/graemlins/wink.gif[/img]. The challenge is over when I am busto or after these 400 SNG. I hope to have around 2k then and can continue play the 16$ turbos. If you like to join the challenge and play may be higher SNG feel free to post your results here. Yes and I know thats not proper bankroll management. Gigabob or Gigabusto?
The interesting part of this challenge will come when slimbob busts. I believe in the experience and wisdom of the stt forum and ask you:
Under which conditions should "friends" borrow him money? Should he offer his loan-sharks (e.g. me) -service as a riksha driver -availability as a drain cleaner or -something else more humiliating. He also offered to apport the darts from my dart board, an idea I like very much. As slimbob knows I already started out with the challenge. After my first 500 sitngos at stars I cashed out everything except 320$ (20 buy-ins for the 16s) and played 100 16s and 100 27s. At the moment I am running hot at the 60s. Unfortunately by posting this I will have jinxed myself big time, so it won't be possible to borrow slimbob money if he should fail.
