i think he has flushdraw or 37 for bottom 2pair. 89 w/ no flush is unlikely.

I would call, but I think against a good villain (he is ok, pretty decent I guess) you need to be aware that they can easily have a huge hand here like a set hoping you think they have a draw and call. I would definitely make this play with a set on occasion.

That said, if you haven't seen Villain make this play before, the call is easy. [/ QUOTE ] You have it backwards. If he rarely does this its probably a very strong hand. |

I find my opponents beat me into the pot when I do this with a draw (results: I don't improve), and fold when I have a set.
So just imagine you're playing against me, and do accordingly. |
