Villain is 47/6/.06, over 1.0 on the river, after 2500 hands.
Since Villain hasn't played back yet, is it standard to always fire again on the river when there are two OCs on the board? Villain could be calling down with an ace or a king...or he could've had a flush draw, or he could have a gutshot, or a ten, or some combination of those hands. Which really puts you in a world of hurt here against a guy that apparently isn't afraid to take a shot at the river.
Honestly, this is one of those hands where I'd have just check/folded the turn. I expect to see him flip over something like A6o if I take it to showdown, and the pot isn't nearly big enough to draw to my 6-outer. If you're giving up the best hand this once, so be it...3.75 BBs isn't worth risking another 2 over. As played, I still think we can check/fold the river. |

it is not standard to fire two barrels on a board like that. i would have c/fed the turn. don't expect a guy this passive to do any raising w/ a single pair, especially when you were the original aggressor.
i'd probably still c/f the river. |

As played Id c/c the river. This guy could easily bluff at the river with a busted draw or even a lower pair.

Is his aggression factor really 0.06 over that many hands? That is too passive to believe. But if it is correct, I'd c/f turn and c/f river. After all, with a read like that he's only going to bet when you check to him with a stronger hand than your's on that board.

flop c/f or do what you did. passives will cold call with any pp for some reason (and wont rr with qq or lower). id takin folding the flop over any line. wait for a better spot in that small pot.
i like your agression since you can pretty much keep it to 1 bet per round and maybe hell give up a k(unlikely). but with possiblitly of low pp's it think your line is tooo agressive so id fold the flop. |

flop c/f or do what you you did [/ QUOTE ] C/fing the flop vs. an 47 VPIP cold-caller is atrocious. |

small pot + super passive villain makes for a check/fold on the turn. Someone with those stats will not often bet without an A.

Thanks people! I won't bet that turn any more. I got lucky. I checked the river and he checked behind with 99.
How about one OC? |
