[ QUOTE ] yeah, wtf is up with the 6x BB raise? [/ QUOTE ] if you want to give your hand away you're on your own here [/ QUOTE ] 6x BB preflop raise is standard for me with any PP and any mid SC's. In no way does it give my hand away. |

I just don't see what checking the flop accomplishes here. We likely have the best hand, were betting here for value. Plenty of worse hands will call. This isn't a WA/WB situation. [/ QUOTE ] Lol how can any hand be slightly ahead here or slightly behind. Either we are drawing to 2 outs or they are drawing to two outs/runner runner. |

My understanding is that term is usually used to describe hands like AK on an AJ7r board. Where you want to control the size of the pot because you have a marginal made hand (one pair). But I suppose Technically you could put 80% of the hands you play in the WA/WB category. If you just want to nut peddle. |

Re: Does he really have a King? (aka...God hates Aces)
I think it's hard to get worse hands to call if we fire another barrel. I usually c/c this. Usually c/f river, but if Villian frequently bets the river when checked to, you have to sometimes call.
