I always lead the flop in this kind of spots, but I really like your line.

What hands do you expect to call your bet when you lead this flop?

I like to check A high flops 100% of the time I 3-bet pf from the blinds for Shania. Not sure if that's good though.

With air to? That must limit you unless you have a very tight reraising range.

I very rarely actually have a hand so it benefits to me to bet Ace high flops when I have an Ace.

I certainly don't 100% though and I think this hand looks pretty standard orange(esp. v aggro's). He have AQ or something?

I think the play is nice.
One problem, without you're leading bet you dont get a clue if you're against two pair. AA + 99 for example.

So the play is nice, but there's a gambling factor in it.

QQ+, AK and AQ if he calls pf with that. Betting doesn't look that good anymore.

I've never given it that much thought. When I'm the aggressor, I just CB 97% of time against single opponent. I feel like it's too suspicious if I check as my CB% is so high.

I'm still a novice in cash games, so this thread was yet another eye opener.

No with air I think I usually bluff, but I'm checking AK-AQ as well as any pp here. If he checks behind I'll fire 2/3 pot or so on the turn.

I lead the flop here for sure and if he raises allin I'm thinking about folding honestly. You say he's a bit aggro, but what is he calling with pf? Is he playing aj like this? Obviously it's harder to play this hand when you just check call the flop. AQ and QQ are very possible here maybe 99. I think at best you split this one. I try not to get stacked with TPTK, sometimes its inevitable. Turn shove is interesting though. He knows that a reraise could very well be AK and the fact that you called the flop makes him think this even more. So he plays it fast and pushes turn so he can stack you with a set I guess. I'd be curious to know the results of this one, please post them.

Im always up for looking at new lines. I happen to like this one here. My only question for you is were you planing on CRAI if he didnt push himself and only bet 1/2 of what he did?
