Default NL 50, 6 Max Pot control vs extracting value.

Reads: Villian is 20/14/3
My stack is 49$, and Villian covers.

A few hands earlier i donked away a full buyin too him. I raised preflop and he called with a pocketpair. He flopped a set, and checkraised me on the turn(I hit my toppair, topkicker on the turn).

Then over to this hand:

Is my check on the turn ok?

Bet turn. Villain is likely wb here. Ax is paying you off an awful lot here.

Pot control is betting 8 on this turn instead of 12.

I like a turn bet, but I don't think checking against a good player is bad.

I'd overbet the pot on the river, like $16ish.

If he will give up on the turn with Ax if I fire at it, but value bet it on the river if I check behind, I like a check.

Otherwise no.

Yes,i have started to bet the turn in theese spots more frequently. But remembering the hand where he checkraised my i chickend out. I was also hoping to induce him to bet on the river with my turn check.
Next time i just bet the turn and don't worry about it.

What about the river, what is your play here?

your aim here shouldn't be pot control, it should be to get AI by the river
