Default Flop straight, vomit on turn....

I open 2 off the button with Q[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img]J[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img]
SB is a fairly straightforward 35/20. He calls.
BB is a 50/8 callstation. He calls.

Flop is K[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img]T[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img]9[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img]
SB checks. BB bets. I raise. SB calls. BB calls.

Turn is the beautiful J[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] and it's a bet and a raise to me.

I?

should be pretty easy to figure out with some math. Likely at best tho you are drawing to half the pot and even if you arent behind, the redraw is prolly out. You also dunno how many bets its gunna go if you call the 2.

folding doesnt sound bad

easy fold since you are going to get 1/2 at best, but only get 1/2 or even 1/3 part of the time when the turn made a flush or the river completes the flush.

I think that we can give the calling station credit for a hand here, at least a made straight. Also, notice that you no longer hold the best possible straight, though AQ is not likely given the action.

Do you really want to put in a minimum of 3BB just to get your money back? I think that you can find a fold here unless both players are absolute idiots.

Very easy fold. You are fighting for half a pot.

Hero folds.
SB calls.

River K[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img]T[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img]9[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img]J[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] 8[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img]
SB checks. BB bets. SB folds.

Ok, I posted this while I was still playing. I felt like I was on my game today and I made the fold without much thought. Afterwards, though, I started to second guess myself, wondering if I was overconfident. That's when I put the hand up. I guess it wasn't so tough after all.
