It can't be THAT big of a mistake! Let's not be results orientated. So he lost this particular pot. The guy is capable of playing extremely well post-flop. This makes up for a lot. He can also win some pots he shouldn't, or make extra bets at times too.

I agree he gives up some EV by not 3-betting. But a good player can use this to his advantage both in current and future hands.

So your rationale is that since it's Neverwin and Neverwin is god. It doesn't matter what he does because he makes up for it elsewhere.
