Hi Byron,

Definitely looking forward to buying your new 3-DVD-set on headus up limits holdem. I think it'll be great based on your previous works of HGIYLH and your card player articles, etc.

I'm curious what limit do you mainly play your headups games online (5/10, 20/40, 40/80, higher?)? Do you just play one single table for HU or multi-table often?

I mainly play 10-20. I have played all limits up to 50-100 but I find that 10-20 (and sometimes 15-30) is the best level for me. I can handle the bankroll requirement easily and the opposition is usually very beatable. I never multi-table when playing HU. I think this is disastrous.

A few quick questions on the "new version of HGIYLH" that's coming out later: Will this just be a revision of the current book with a few more new fresh problems? Or will it be ALL new quizz problems?

[/ QUOTE ]

Both. It will be a revision (I think most of the stuff in there is OK, but there are definitely a few things I want to change - I also want to amplify some of the explanations). I will also add a whole load of completely new hands.

Your current book (HGIYLM) as stated in your introduction chapter "is about trying to move up from low-limit $3-6 and $5-10...to the middle limits $10/20, $15/30 and $20/40. And I felt it did a great job of accomplishing that job.

Will this new version of HGIYLM take us to the next level? I.E. moving from the middle-limit ($20/40,etc.) to the higher limits $30/60+? That would be great if this new version was geared toward that. But will the new version merely be more middle limit ground?

[/ QUOTE ]

Actually I think the games have changed quite a lot since this book was published. It came out in April 05 and at the time, 15-30 and 20-40 were, in general, pretty tough games. I think the players who were playing these games are now playing 30-60 and 40-80, so the advice in the book is probably OK around this level. I have never played any higher than 40-80 and only a little at that level.

Thanks...really look forward to all your new material.
