KK with an ace on the flop vs turn push
This is not my hand, this is dotthebot's. she didn't want to post it, but Ilike these hands, so i thought I would.
I've already told her to rr way more preflop, so please lets ignore it. Re: KK with an ace on the flop vs turn push
Meh, this probably isn't a bluff as often as it's ace, 77-TT or JT. I can't really find a call.
I like a flop bet, fwiw, but there are good arguments on both sides. |

Re: KK with an ace on the flop vs turn push
What a strange bet.
The size of the preflop reraise actually makes this a pretty difficult decision. The problem is that if villain is semibluffing he may still have a hand that beats hero. So I probably fold, but without being sure I'm doing the right thing. |

Re: KK with an ace on the flop vs turn push
Dbitel,
Fold? I dont really think there is much we are beating against an unknown. As to the flop, I used to always bet this, but I have kinda started to think about checking here and occuisionally checking here with AK too. However, I think I like a bet here. If they call we know we are toast. |

Raise more PF. and talking to yourself shows the makings of a madman.

Re: KK with an ace on the flop vs turn push
checking this flop w/ out a read puts us in a really tough spot on the turn. And we obv. want to do whatever possible to make our decisions as easy as possible. I'd say a 1/2-3/4 pot bet on the flop would be the best, or whatever amount you usually bet on A high flops.

Re: KK with an ace on the flop vs turn push
I usually make a 2/3 pot bet on the flop in this situation and shut down if villain calls.
As played, the turn is tough. I think a call, even if correct, is pretty thin. I fold, personally. |
