I'm considering getting one of the new 80 gig iPods. If anyone here has one and has any thoughts on it, I'd really appreciate hearing them. I'm a huge Apple fan (I own a PC for poker, but have done everything else on an Apple product since I got my first Apple IIe), but I know that the first runs of their products are often on the unreliable side. Is there any buzz about that, or does anyone have any firsthand experience?
Thanks! And sorry if this is the wrong forum. |

I wouldn't consider this to be the "first run," more like a revision. 90% of the guts are going to be the same as the previous iPods. The major difference is probably the software, which is easily updated.
Battery life is improved, and the screen is brighter. More info here. |
