Yeah, I just thought the "It must be something WILD AND CRAZY" was kinda dumb. AT isn't the best guess after all.

I'm pretty sure Nath bets this flop with AT given his stack size. And doesn't he begrudingly call the push on his stack size too, just because there's a fair chance that BB is running this line as a semi-bluff with any 9 on the turn?

[/ QUOTE ]

This is exactly what I was thinking. When he checked the flop, I figured at best he has an underpair to the Ten or something like AQ/AK.

What did you have nath? AT would seem kind of logical although I think you may bet that on the flop.

[/ QUOTE ]

Lol I just put it out there, I didn't think there would be a whole discussion about it. There are many more hands which nath could have. From what he said after the hand it made me think he was laying something decent down, I dunno.

AntonioN: how did you know
AntonioN: what kind of magic did you use
AntonioN: and what made you think i wasn't going to call you with my stack

Actually now that I re-read what nath said, it seemed like he had nothing or maybe a draw. Probably a FD that he didn't have odds to call him with.

I had AQo and upon rereading the HH realized the semibluff was a mistake because I couldn't call a raise and turned my double gutter + overs into air. But essentially I was betting at a pot nobody seemed to want.

That said, your play is highly dependent on knowing how I play. And if I was slowplaying a big hand (I do it from time to time) or turned a big hand, you are toast. All the more reason to fold PF.

Would 96 or K9 muck here?

Yeah, that was really why I posted it because I wouldn't normally play this hand like that.

I agree that a fold PF is standard, but I've never won a tournament making only standard plays.
