I have insanely good cover, and I would never try this without setting it up in advance, ( i.e. good count early in deck, I got my bets jacked and say, "The way I'm running, I'm splitting tens next time I get them, [which could be done winning OR losing, really..]. Only thing is though, you HAVE to do it when it comes up then, proper count or not, or you'll never be able to try it with them again.) I actually have a lot of angles regarding BJ advantage play cover. Maybe I wil write up somehting in the future.

sentiments like this are stupid. party isn't setting up a promo like this with the intention of only a few people doing it. if that was the case it would be account specific. for whatever reason, they think it's a good idea and that they will make money off it in the long run. it wasn't exactly a secret, it was on their website. post away.

If you want these gifts, and that is what they are, then treat them as the precious commodities and do not talk about them in public.

Normally when this is said (usually on the Internet Bonus forums here), people reply with "well I've already done that bonus, so what do I care if it dies"; they miss the point that if that always happens, then next time and the time after they probably won't have done it before it dies.

This case is even clearer tho - you managed to kill it before it even happened. Perhaps this will show you something.

Remember, casinos are not poker. Talk about poker bonuses all you like, you probably won't ever kill or even change them. Do not talk about casino bonuses, no good will come of it. Obviously they wanted lots of people to do it.

Lots of normal gamblers who dont know strategy and dont know that BJ 2:1 is +EV and who will continue to play BJ after the promo.

They DONT want ANYONE in this thread. Yes of course they knew that EV players woul latch on, but obviously they didn't expect that a highly popular poker forum would have a 20 and a 7 page thread covering it, with the inference that there would be probably thousands of EV players.

Were they naive and stupid? Yes probably. But that's what we want! A naive and stupid casino is the holy grail, the most beautiful sight on the bonus horizon.

Except now they've learnt, and no-one got anything.

Seriously, when was the last time a casino ran a 2:1 BJ promotion? And when a casino - for the first time in many years - stepped up to be that stupid, you think it's ok that it got plastered all over the web and they noticed and killed it?

It's just a shame when people have to be spoon-fed everything, to the point of there being nothing left to feed.

So your sentiment is that Party decided to run this promo for the benefit of winning poker players who plan to only play blackjack for 1 hour during the promo hours, care only about the profit they make during these hours, and never come back? And you call his sentiments stupid?
