Sadly, yes (.23). Unless you have a specific read about him bluffing.

Yes, but you can't fold in the next similar situation because he might get the idea he can bluff now that he knows you can fold.

Yeah, I fold.

Note that besides the 4 flush and his passivity, it's also a 2 pair heavy board, and completes 3 different straights. Fairly easy fold.

Are all of you seriously folding this?? With this huge odds(9:1 !!) I would call every time. But maybe this is a flaw in my game?

No, this could very well be an irrational fish bet with just a pair. In a 5 or 6 BB pot, I'll fold. Not in a 9 BB pot.

A couple of times just recently, I've seen someone donk a 4 flush without it. But they were whackos. One guy did it in a 4 way hand of 2/4 that had 4BB in the pot. I folded and he got two calls and they spit .75BB each. I didn't feel like risking 1 BB to win one in that situation. 9BB it might be worth a call, but from a .23 aggro player donking into the aggressor on all previous streets...meh...maybe. It could be an attempt to steal the pot.

I make this call getting 9:1. 8:1 I probably call too but I think thats even EV. 7:1 or less I fold.

It's real an assumptive situation. Can we catch a Party 5/10 player fitting this passive role with less than TPTK 1 in 10 times? I can't say we can with 100% certaintity, but because I'm 51% sure, I make this call.

IMO it's probably slightly -EV to call given the pot size; the villan's profile; and the texture of the board (high cards besides the four spades) on the river but I'd call for meta game reasons.

yeah, I doubt your ahead even 10% of the time here, and the only thing you beat is a bluff. There are too many hands that beat you, and from my expierience, players who donk bet on a river like that usually have your beat.
