I have insanely good cover, and I would never try this without setting it up in advance, ( i.e. good count early in deck, I got my bets jacked and say, "The way I'm running, I'm splitting tens next time I get them, [which could be done winning OR losing, really..]. Only thing is though, you HAVE to do it when it comes up then, proper count or not, or you'll never be able to try it with them again.) I actually have a lot of angles regarding BJ advantage play cover. Maybe I wil write up somehting in the future.

Yeah it's weird - they plan a promo, they post a promo, a 20 page thread appears on a major public forum detailing how lots of people are going to profit hugely from the promo, and then they drop the promo.

No, its definately a technical problem. PP was going to make a ton of money off this promo.

1. PPL will continue play after promo.
2. Ppl will not follow optimal strategy.
3. Very infrequent misclicks will turn a player -EV.

i think you guys are exaggerating this. maybe if you hit your 18+ thats almost a .5 unit mistake, but way more often than not, your misclicks and brain farts are going to be hitting a 12 vs a 6 instead of standing, where the difference between the two is practically negligible.

Whether or not they were going to make money is irrelevant - they saw this thread (and no doubt others like it elsewhere), they paniced, they pulled it.

When you plan to pillage it's usually best not to let the enemy know in advance.

The fact is that party did this knowing that it was -ev for them. That it is why it is only for 1 hour a day for 3 days. If they didn't know it was -ev for them they would have let the promotion run for 3 days straight.

If i had to bet they have this promotion up and running soon enough. This wouldn't be the first technical problem coming from party.;
