I think you did, disregaurd what the shorty did. I'm probably only reraising there about <10% of the time. I'm never calling that BB all in with anything less then KK.

I think if you just call, and then see what happens on the flop you can shut out most hands when you're still over the board, unless of course you were a 4-1 dog like it looks like here.

I love it when they come over the top when I have JJ. Without a read, I think you have to fold here.

There was $57.20 in the pot when BB went all in. BB effectively puts another $92.40 in the pot since he has you covered. You must put in $53.40 to win $149.60. Assuming an average hand range for BB is AA, KK, QQ and AKs I just don't think you're getting the odds.

If we knew BB was a maniac, this would be a totally different situation, of course.

i'm no mathemagician, um . . . so if you put him on one of four hands, 3 of which you are a 4-1 dog and one of which ur a coinflip against, how is your winning percentage in the 30s?

raising to 39 is extremely excessive. Make it closer to 25 next time and EZ fold to a 4-bet from a nonidiot.

my thoughts exactly. but at nl100 i consider them idiots until otherwise proven. but this was my 2nd hand and after hand was over i felt i shoulda raised closer to 25 and allowed myself the opportunity to fold in the hand the way it played out. considering i did raise to 39 i think my call is ok based on odds of me winning against his range and pot odds im getting. i also think just calling pf with position isnt a bad move either.

Getting all in pf with JJ and QQ = -EV against 90% of players, IMO. I still fold to the 4-bet because I expect to see AA, KK, and QQ >75% of the time.
