Season long ATS pool

My uncle runs a pool where we pick about 15 CFB games and all the NFL games in a given week ATS. The person who finishes with the best record gets 45% the person who finishes with the most weeks where he had the most right gets 45% and the person who finishes with worst record gets 10%.

I was trying to figure out what type of results I would need to win. I figured on 3 total weeks won would pretty much wrap up the total weeks won spot.

Everyone who picks in this pool just does it for fun and I dont think to many of them do any real research so my question in a league like this is .500 good enough to win the thing? Has anyone ever done one of these before that can offer up some advice?
