Easy fold here? Heads-up against possible nuts
Game #3408476514: Hold'em NL (£1/£2)
Table "Housewife" Seat 2 is the button. Seat 1: Hero (£324.13 in chips) Seat 2: Villain (£120.37 in chips) Villain: posts small blind £1 Hero: posts big blind £2 ----- HOLE CARDS ----- dealt to Hero [3s 2c] Villain: calls £1 Hero: checks ----- FLOP ----- [7c 4s 5c] Hero: bets £4 Villain: calls £4 ----- TURN ----- [7c 4s 5c][Jd] Hero: checks Villain: bets £4 Hero: calls £4 ----- RIVER ----- [7c 4s 5c Jd][Ah] Hero: bets £12 Villain: raises to £110.37 and is all-in The games is in £'s so you could call it a $2/4 heads up game if you wish. Villain is extremely weak passive and this is the first time he has moved all-in in about 45 mins. Just want to check that folding is definitely the right option here, or is there any other way the hand should be played differently. |

Re: Easy fold here? Heads-up against possible nuts
i don't think i could fold here. there is ONE possible hand that beats you, 68. i realize that he's been playing weak-tight, but he could have become frustrated with being pushed around, have a strong, but sencond best hand, etc.

Villain is extremely weak passive... [/ QUOTE ] Is there any chance that he could play AA this way? If there is you have to call here... i mean come on it´s HU and you have the second nutz... ez call IMO... |

Re: Easy fold here? Heads-up against possible nuts
maybe i am understating hom weak this player actually is. about 10 mins before hand i raised with a4d and he called with j10, the flop was akq and he check called me down to the river where i hit my flush. i also saw him check down a set on the river because a 3 flush came out.
i honestly dont think he would push in this hand without the nuts, but if he has been slowplaying something else or the river hit him hard, do the odds i am getting on the river justify a call? i know that if i wait him out i can grind him into the ground through pure aggression instead... |

Re: Easy fold here? Heads-up against possible nuts
yeah he is shoving into a very small pot but the point is you have the second nuts and he could be doing this with the same hand or worse(2-pair, trips)...i think that alone justifies a call but by checking his agg factor would be an easy way to decide...if he is an .30 or something i think then i lean more towards a fold obv but anything over 2 or so i think you have to call.

Re: Easy fold here? Heads-up against possible nuts
wow you are right...we all totally missed that...i think now you can safely fold considering the terrible pot odds that you are getting and his passive nature.

60BB, heads up, third nuts?????
incorrectly folding this is a huge mistake. you have a better handle on his range here than anyone, but this looks terrible |
