I can't decide if she is extremely hot, or fugly.

I had a similar conversation with a friend of mine. I think she is fugly. So the quesiton is: Is she "supposed" to be attractive?

Some people, whether or not you think they are attractive, are "supposed" to be attractive. I.e., they are considered attractive by the popular press.

An example would be Sarah Jessica Parker. Most of OOT considers her ugly. But they way she dresses and the way she is presented, she is "supposed" to be pretty.

Is Pink supposed to be an attractive person? If not, why the hell is she doing the intro to a football show?

[/ QUOTE ]

I think it comes down to what type of woman you find attractive. If you are more into the waifish type then Pink would basically repulse you, but if you're more into "big boned" women I could see you finding her attractive.

I do agree that it's a strange choice if you are "selling sex" to the typical male football fan demographic.

I have fond memories of Pink... back in 2000 I believe, the NBA All-Star game was in Oakland. She was the half-time show for the Rookie/Sophomore game and she literally got booed off the court. I had never been at an event where the crowd reaction was so strong and negative for a relatively unknown performer. She sucked so badly! I was amazed a few months later when I saw she had a video on MTV.
Sports leagues have never had much success when trying to include musical guests that fit it with the sport itself. There is never going to be a perfect fit. I still don't know why they don't mix it up each week.
And, besides, fast-forwarding through Pink's intro is what TIVO was made for!
