Incorrect. Doyle was on the verge of his first losing year recently, but then won a tourney late in that year to keep his life long streak going.

Humberto Brenes dishonored my race on the WSOP broadcast. I understand where your coming from [/ QUOTE ] Yeah, and Andy Black dishonored the Celtic race by weeping at the poker table. |

At least he plays a lot of hands, and he never seems scared or initimidated. I'd rather him in there mixing it up than some nut-peddling nit.

It looked to me like what was happening is that he was down real big on prop bets and that caused him to want to play more hands to get back even.
Actually, I think this is the point everyone was missing over in the prop bet thread. Prop bets exist in the game in the hope of affecting player's emotions so that their poker play gets worse. Right? I mean you know you're going to break even in long run. But on a given day if a player is up big or down big in props it will likely affect his emotions and make him play differently (usually worse). |

[/ QUOTE ] Ahhhh, I see...When players people like play bad hand after bad hand, they are "mixing it up", but if someone doesn't like the player they are "donking off their money/chips"? Got it. |

How does Mike the "Mouth" make you feel about Jewish players? Perhaps your post is only in regards to Isreali's???

How about this, stop idolizing poker players. Number two, their pot size bets are larger than your bankroll. STFU.

[ QUOTE ]
So, your pride in your country/heritage is shattered because a poker player from your homeland isn't as good as you thought he was at NL Hold 'Em? Um...lol bro? Don't forget that Eli (I assume anyway) is a successful businessman and therefore will always have the last laugh on everyone who mocks him for the way he played KJ. Stop taking poker so seriously. [/ QUOTE ] It has nothing to do with my country/heritage pride.I was just hugely dissapointed in his skills, that's all. In the movie he was described like a great player and all that, but the reality is quite different as it turns out. There are tons of top high stakes Jewish players. |
