Default newbie acronym question.

hey,
been reading here for a while. dont post much. i often see things like NSFW, IRL etc in posts and i'm not sure what they stand for (i know IRL=in real life, just using it as an example).

if anyone could shed some light on any of these for me it'd be appreciated. if this thread has already been done, link please?

NSFW is "Not Safe For Work". Clickng on a NSFW link or seeing it in the subject line of a post means that there potentially offensive content inside (nudity, language, etc.) It is there as a warning not to open it at work or home or anywhere you could get into trouble for viewing it or be offended, or offend someone else.

most of these can be found in the urban dictionary or on the intraweb. There was alos an acronym page made once dunno what happen top that.

As a note the language of OOT/BBV changes almost daily with some new meaningless word being made up or used and acronyms that are used only here. Only thing you can do is try to keep up or give up trying.
