Live games are much better. Poker sites obvoiusly employ posters to brag how great online poker is. But the math and poker tracker stats show live is much better then online poker or what I call "poker bingo". Online cash game poker is not real poker and is not nearly as profitable as live cash play. Online tournaments approach live play as people are forced to play somewhat logically, and I have found online tournaments are quite beatable.

I'm going to use this thread to share what other scams I've uncovered. You would be wise to avoid all of these things.

Private schools, credit cards, the judicial system, network television, car insurance, the FCC, the stock market, premium grade gasoline, fast food, nuclear power, ipods, hot dog vendors, foreign currency, batting averages in baseball, airports, music videos, digital cameras, whitie tighties, peanut butter and jelly, and anything that's purple.

I encourage everyone to share other scams so I can avoid being taken advantage of.

The funny thing for me is, I can beat the 5% rake any day of the week and have done so for years, but I can't for the life of me beat those nits in the 2/4 at WSEX* I may have saved $100 in rake, but christ how much are you losing when you're fighting over blinds and there's no dead money in the pots?

I wish everyone played at a wsex but they dont. So in the mean time Ill play where donkeys play. Ypu dont play at a pro level ypu probably suck. I also started with almost nothing (300 bucks) played at sites with rake and almost 2years later its geown about 800 times.
