It doesnt matter what they are interested in, You can get pretty much anything insured if you want. That being said, I have no idea if that was the reason.

Insurance also wouldn't let them us a real airplane for the myth of a car being flipped by the jet exhaust. They had to use 2 jet engines, minus the plane, instead. Apparently, it was a concern that the jet engines may flip the car towards the plane?!?!
