There is basically a top tier of deaths that would all be devastating on about the same order of magnitude. They include my immediate family (mother, father, brother) and my girlfriend. No use in differentiating between any of them.

I'm honestly a bit surprised at the amount of people who chose their mother, relative to their father. Is this an artifact of having the message board be male-dominated? FWIW, I don't know how I would've chosen 3 years ago, before I lost my own mother. I guess I find this a little surprising
