Re: Im torn on this hand
After just flat calling his PFR, you've underrepresented your hand enough that you're almost obligated to get it all in here against all but the nittiest of villains.

Re: Im torn on this hand
i'd just like to say that your flop raise is completely aweful since you did it to find out if he has AA/KK. It's a WA/WB situation (where you are mostly WA), the only reason to raise in this spot is for value. Raising and then finding a fold later is aweful unless you have a very good read in which case the more +EV line would be to call and reevualate later.

Re: Im torn on this hand
1. 3bet preflop.
2. raise more on flop if you're going to raise; just calling is OK too. 3. get it in on the turn. fold here is awful. |

Re: Im torn on this hand
[ QUOTE ]
I don't understand why we push the turn. If we can get him to bet the river again with 22-JJ while he might fold to a push on the turn I think it's a mistake to do so. [/ QUOTE ] I want to quote this to emphasize the question. If he might fold lower PPs but will always bet the river with them when we call, why not let him keep betting? It's not like letting him draw is a concern since he either has 0 or 2 outs when behind. |
