fold or shove flop, or at the very least be 100% sure of what you are doing on the turn if you choose to call flop

because this is the bubble, anything you do you are going to be playing for your whole stack basically every time. So don't think about it like "i'm calling 400, but he might check the turn and river"... you are oop, and you are playing for your whole stack, right now, on the flop. so shove or fold flop.

you could have raised to 1400-1600 PF unless villian likes to call. bet more on the flop.

i would tend to bet on the turn as too many donkey usually check it to see the river. call the turn push.

I was even thinking about pounding preflop.

This player was such a donkey I was afraid of a call with KT+ any pocket pair.

I really dont like the flop bet. I would try to keep the pot as small as possible. You most likely have the best hand so i would just c/c, and i would fold to that AI.

Yea, with your read, I don't think I'd like a flop push here. It'd be close to calling an all-in with A9 here, which you would never do.

As played, I think you have to fold to his push. But, how exactly has he been fishy? If he's been making big bets at every pot, then I could find a call here.

Word.

I've said it before and I'll say it again: don't f with the big stack on the bubble if you are in a comfortable second. Be a big p*ssy. Unless you are REAL sure Villain understands that and is bullying, which is clearly not the case here.

Well I'd have to agree if you decide to bet, but c/c is perfectly fine and I think a shove over his minraise is horrible given the stack sizes vs. a fish.

I would definitely fold and I would have checked the flop and tried to keep the pot as small as humanly possible.
