Oh no, not at any point have I tried to pass the responsibility. I realize what I did and know it was a mistake. I just don't think it warranted a termination.

I always tell myself not to ask for advice on internet forums but for some reason I do it anyway. Its so easy to just insult someone even if it makes no sense LOL.

Drinking where you work is definitely not cool; you should have better judgment than that when you're sober. If I were your boss, I'd probably fire you just based on that.

I think you're just going to have to start looking for another job. What you did is unprofessional, and casinos don't want employees who think its a local bar. Not trying to be harsh because I know people make mistakes, but in this case you just have to face the consequences.
