KK facing river push
Villian is 61/22 over 93 hands. Am I playing scared here?

Re: KK facing river push
Bet the flop or check it. I check it.
Fold the turn, fold the river. No, this is not playing scared. |

Re: KK facing river push
I'd fold, you're pretty much only beating a bluff here, although it is a little suspicious why he's betting so much.
Next time reraise more pf, to like at least 8. Also make a decent sized bet on the flop, 3/4 pot or so. |

[censored] at this point, you are losing to a bluff.

Re: KK facing river push
flop bet is really small, it's hard to tell what to do on the turn because of it. I'd prob just fold the turn though.

Re: KK facing river push
I wasn't sure when I made the flop bet if I wanted him to call or not. That's a mistake, undoubtedly.
If I do bet 3/4 pot on the flop, and he calls, I'm folding to a big bet on the turn, right? As I should have in the original scenario. So doesn't a bigger bet on the flop cost me money? The villian is loose enough that he'll call 3/4 with about the same range as a 1/2 PSB, isn't he? |

Re: KK facing river push
your bet was under 1/2 pot which looks really bad imo. If you had bet 2/3-3/4 then I think this turn is a very easy fold, but given the way the hand was played I hate both calling/folding the turn, but I'd prob still end up folding.

Re: KK facing river push
I like a bet more on the flop, but if called, i shut down and then call a river bet based on circumstance, preferably favorable.

Re: KK facing river push
I generally check the flop, then call a turn and river bet depending on board texture and bet sizing.
As played, fold the turn. Definitely fold the river. |
