Default $16: HU with TPNK

PokerStars Tournament, Big Blind is t150 (2 handed) Converter on pregopoker.com

Button (t11610)
Hero (t1890)

Preflop: Hero is in BB with J[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] 9[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img]
Button calls t75, Hero checks

Flop: (t300) J[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] 3[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] 6[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] (2 players)
<font color="red">Hero bets t150</font>, Button calls t150

Turn: (t600) 2[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] (2 players)
<font color="red">Hero bets t400</font>, <font color="red">Button raises to t800</font>, <font color="red">Hero raises to t1590 (All-in)</font>

Would folding here be weak/tight without a strong read? I don't think calling is an option. How was my line?

Folding here would be silly, what better spot would you be expecting in the next 3 or 4 hands before you're hideously short stacked and have to go in anyway?

At least if you win this hand right now, you're back in the game.

How you play this on the flop is very read dependent. Against an aggressive villain I would check with the intention of check-raising here, against a passive villain I lead out for a bit more (say 200-250).

As played, on the turn there's no way I'm laying this down, not with top pair and no real obvious draws that would have gotten there on the turn (except for 45). Top pair any kicker is a great hand HU, it's almost like flopping a set on a full table.

Bet more on flop and turn. You cant fold here with your stacksize.

easy push, heads up top pair should be played like a set at a full table... good job bad results I'm sure.
