Re: $105+9. Do you absolutely have to push here on button?
How can you outplay them with half of your chips in the pot and them shoving basically any flop if they call?

I would not push here. the BB is about 4 to 1 chip lead over you. if he has almost any ace he's ahead, not to mention good pairs. you're not on the bubble anymore and you have enough chips to wait for a better hand. i'd like to have at least A9s if i'm pushing from the button here. maybe raise and try and outplay them, but i don't like the all-in move as it shows you're too scared to play the hand and just want to end it. [/ QUOTE ] You are absolutely right. If he has a better hand, he has a better hand. |

Re: $105+9. Do you absolutely have to push here on button?
exactly my point.
but he left out some key info. are they the type of players to call any all in or are they folders? big stack might not want to lose 25% of his chips, but maybe he's a gambler... i don't know cause toddy didn't say. same with number two guy. now, if i'm in the game i have a better read. sometimes i'd push and sometimes i'd fold A4o. situation means a lot. |

The only other option IMO is a min raise and call the shortie and fold to the BB's all in. Any more than a min raise and you're pot committed. I don't think this push is as obvious as everyone is saying. If HERO has 2000-2400 I think its insta, but w/ 3k I still think you can get away from this hand. Its a thin line though. |

Re: $105+9. Do you absolutely have to push here on button?
This looks like a clear jam here to me. Perhaps that's why I've been taking a lot of 3rds lately but I don't think I can change that I'm shoving this preflop every time....

Re: $105+9. Do you absolutely have to push here on button?
Its definetly hard w/out all the of variables. The BB would definetly call with an ACE or a KING..
For the record I pushed this. I think this is an 80/20 push/min raise. I don't think a min raise is that bad here. I dont' mind min raising the BB and pushing a non coordinated board if its checked to me. |

Re: $105+9. Do you absolutely have to push here on button?
Im really confused? This is 3 handed? I would push. Also the BB would not definitely call with any ace or king cmon, why would they call 2400 chips with A5o?

Re: $105+9. Do you absolutely have to push here on button?
This is such an easy push its not even funny. Whoever said fold between you and your friend has no business in a $105+9 at all.
