OT: What is best poker room in Reno?
I will be going to reno sometime soon and want to play where I stay to get free or cheaper rates. I was wondering which poker room was the best.

Re: OT: What is best poker room in Reno?
I spent a week at the Ascuaga's Nugget in June. Small, but really nice room. Say hey to Morgan (a dealer) for me when you see him.
Remind him of the hand where he boated but I had 2 small pair (a pair of Red 8's and a pair of Black 8's). Wheeeeeee! Seriously, nice place and friendly folks. Lots of dealers from other casinos play there late-ish. They are LAG in general, so soft games. Good luck! Slacka |

The Reno Hilton has by far the biggest room. And they offer SNGs as well and run a lot of tournaments. Typical SNGs though, ridiculous structure.

My first B&M experience ever was at the Reno Hilton while I was staying there for other business. There were like 4-5 tables, the chips were filthy, and the room was about as dark and dingy as it gets. This was 2 years ago--have they upgraded since then? I later headed over to the Atlantis, which was about the same size, but much nicer. |

Re: OT: What is best poker room in Reno?
Yeah, that was about a year ago. They must have upgraded because they had had easily 40 tables in their main room and had a seperate tourny room with at least 10 tables. It was all out in the main casino so it very open and lit very well. I wonder if we're talking about the same place.
