*Official* Steve Slaton is God thread
Even when he fumbles, he creates a TD.

Very impressive 1st quarter. It's a shame WVU doesn't play anyone (other than Louisville)

I go to Pitt and therefore have a bit of an ingrown hatred for WVU. Having said that, Slaton is freaking amazing. How Pitt and PSU let him get out of PA I will never know.

Re: *Official* Steve Slaton is God thread
Slaton is good, yes. I'm still of the opinion that WVU doesn't deserve any BCS bowl regardless of their record. That would be not only a consequence of their schedule, but as a warning to other schools pulling the same manuever. I like how WVU has a schedule filled with cupcakes and VT plays eight - count 'em, eight! - home games playing in the not-that-much-better ACC.
I think its really a shame they changed the rules to encourage more scheduling of super weak opponents. Its especially bad when a team in the Big Least - long one of the worst auto conferences out there - gets a bid in spite of playing against completely inferior opponents. I guess we'll have to wait until the bowls before WVU plays a real opponent and gets exposed. |
