Why is check/calling the turn better than betting the turn? Don't you think you will lose value once in a while?

Betting the turn would be bad IMO.

Why would it be bad? I need some understanding about it, the fact that it's 'bad' doesnt improve my game.

What do you do if the button raises and the BB folds? What do you do on the river if they both call the turn? What if you bet again on the river and THEN get raised? It's hard to tell where you're at in this hand and I like any line that gets me to showdown(or to folding) cheaply. I think there are alot of bad things that could happen by betting this turn(most of which tell us we're beat but we have to call).

If the turn goes, check/bet/raise we can easily muck. I hate betting the turn because I'll be forced to call a raise(due to odds) and also sometimes have to call a river bet.

If the turn gets checked through and the BB checks the river, I'll then bet for value.

This is a good post, another reason checking is good here is if the hero has the best hand there are very few "free" river cards that can change his status.
