Default $0.5/1 JJ on a 2c7sQc board

hi, i'm just getting into cash games. i play mostly MTTs.

this is a 6-max table i'v been at for an hour. i've been up and down, been calling a lot. winning some/losing some.

this is the second time i've used this line of pushing over villains bet on the turn. the first time i had a FD/SD and he folded. i picked up a $80 pot there. So, i tried again, i knew there wasn't much FE, but i also didn't think his range only included a Q.

is this standard or no good at all?

If you don't put villain on a Q, why are you trying to push him out of the pot?

Turn is spew.

Reload pf, and I think folding turn is probably best although his betting is weak as hell. He's probably just trying to get his money in easily since hes short.

i guess i put him on a Q, a draw and some underpairs and maybe AK. i figured he might not fold those hands either and i wanted him to pay max price for the draw.

my question is. if villain is holding a draw or middle pair 88/99/1010/ or worse, is he calling this push enough to make it profitable.

You really have no fold equity here, imo, plus the only hands you will fold are ones you're beating, so FE is not the reason for pushing if you still intend to....

that said, he isn't betting with any of the hands you are ahead of.

My post makes no sense...hyahcahchaycah

so, the answer to this question is NO?

can he not put me on a draw? underpair/draw?
because i do make those moves with those hands.

of course, in those spots i have the necessary FE, but i didn't peg this villain as being very bright.

turn is brutal. you got lucky to run into a huge donk.

you should probably raise (as a bluff with a runner draw to a flush and two set outs) or fold on the flop.

as played, i'm dumping it on the turn.
