New iTunes update.

Did anyone else install this piece of [censored] tonight? My Mp3s are all skipping. Now it is going through every song and it says "Determining Gapless Playback Information."

How hard would it be to switch to some other program that will update my iPod? Are others really that much better?

even since i updated a year ago my MP3s somehow skip like they are on imaginary [censored] cds.
