Re: Reading players online while multitableing?????
You set up a timer when importing in pokertracker and you set up pokerstars to save HH to your hard drive. So as the HH gets saved they get imported into PT.

[ QUOTE ] for example lets say just on a 20" flatscreen 1600 x 1200 [/ QUOTE ] 4 tables... [/ QUOTE ] Duh, I finally just figured out how you all are multi tabling so well and I suck at it. you have a much bigger monitor and can see all 4 tables at the same time, while I like an idiot am clicking back and forth and usually hitting the wrong button somewhere along the line, ARGH!!!! you crafty B@stards! |

Re: Reading players online while multitableing?????
I'm one of the few people on this forum who typically only plays 1 or 2 tables at a time. I do this because I feel like I play much better when I'm focusing on the other players and getting solid reads on them. My ROI is probably better than a lot of the other winners on this forum, but my hourly rate is a lot lower.
I've dabbled in multi-tabling, but I feel like my game really goes downhill once I get up to 4 tables or so. I'm probably still playing winning poker, but I'd rather just focus my best on the 1 or 2 games I'm playing. Playing 30+ tables at once seems completely insane. But, to be honest, I think there's probably a point of diminishing losses in terms of adding more tables impacting ability to make reads. If you're playing only 1 or 2 tables, you can really focus on reads, tendencies, and get a great feel for the table. At 4 or 6 tables, that starts getting hard and you don't have much time to take notes or anything, you're mostly just playing your game and occasionally noting that a player is a real donk. At 8 tables, it's probably almost impossible to do anything other than play your hands when you have a chance and you have to rely on PAHUD to get you any degree of reads. But at 30 tables, is it any worse than 8, 12, or 16? I doubt it. In both cases, you're not watching the other players at all, you're not watching hands that you're not involved in, and you're basically just playing your game and using PAHUD stats to help with decisions. |

[/ QUOTE ] It requires registration in order to support more than one table but the downloadable trial will allow you to use it on one table so you can get an idea what it does and how it works. |

Re: Reading players online while multitableing?????
It's cheap. $20 give or take. To my knowledge doesn't work on Paradise as Poker Tracker doesn't have a instant HH option for dise.(Correct me if I'm wrong) So well worth it especially if multi tabling and use it for VPIP etc.
Also you have to have PokerTracker for it to work, which you should have anyway. |
