Default Notes on Car/Min game and Pitt/Jax game

Both of these games' lines are dependant on questionable players. I found it interesting on scoreandodds.com they state the following:

For Car/Min:
If Smith plays: Car -3 o/u 37
If Smith is out: Car -1 o/u 35.5

So, expect this line to hover inbetween until a decision is made and then expect the line to instantly move accordingly.

For Pitt/Jax:
If Big Ben plays: Pit -1 o/u 36.5
If Big Ben is out: Jax -2 o/u 36.5

That is how it opened. Currently Big Ben is expected to start and the line has settled at Pit -1. If for some reason this changes expect it to move to Jax -2.

I just found these interesting tidbits and it may help some of you plan....

Interesting that he has no impact on the totals.

Another piece of information worth considering is just because a Steve Smith or Big Ben plays/starts doesn't mean he will play well nor be able to make it through the whole game. It may be fair to assume that the lines would be Pitt -3 and Car -3.5 if each were fully healthy.

Last week it dropped 3 points and then batch came in and still ran an "effective" offense. Much different case for Carolina. They were totally lost.
