Last night the people two floors above me were playing Blink 182 rather loudly. At 2AM.
If I had external speakers for this laptop I'd have stuck them out my window and blasted Slayer - Exile back at them... Dude, trust me. OAR is from Maryland. I know a guy whose cousin is a guitarist, and on a couple of the songs on the live CD (yes, I'll admit it, I used to own it) they make shout-outs to MD.
Just checked wikipedia and they're from Rockville and they were playing as a foursome in HS, all went to OSU I guess, added a fifth, and released a CD.
