Converting VPIP and PFR to Calling Ranges
I've been doing a lot of multitabling and I've been using PT and PAHUD for player stats. Something that I've been doing is using those statistics for determining calling ranges.
However, I've encountered more than a few anomalies. So how do you put an opponent on a certain calling/pushing range? Basically I don't think I'm that good at determing opponent ranges and was wondering if y'all (been hangin out w/ some people from texas waaay to much) have any suggestions. |

Re: Converting VPIP and PFR to Calling Ranges
make your best guess using VPIP and PFR.
(in addition, PAHUD can show a "calling preflop raise" or something similar, and defending a blind steal. they may also be helpful) you might want to generically set different VPIPs as broadly equivalent to the different SNGPT degrees of tightness, and then use PAHUD to colour VPIP accordingly. |
