Default $38 6-max HU

Villain in this hand is pretty solid thinking player. We've been going at it HU for a while. Both definitely making moves on each other.

I would have lead out on the turn. Bottom two is a trong hand HU, but still vulneable, and it may be possible that he has one heart and can catch a heart on the river, ot that he has a pair and that the can outdraw you if the board pairs etc. Get the money in/push him out of the pot when it's likely you're ahead

check-push turn.

you're pot committed anyway. all your money has gotta go in on river even if you call the turn(since you only have 2200 or so chips left in a pot of 5k + opponent's 2k)

I don't think he's pot committed on the turn. He "could" lay it down and still have enough. I don't think he should, but he could.

I don't like check pushing the turn here. I like leading out with a feeler. If he's gonna bet 1000 into your check, you might as well bet that 1000, and use it to get some information. Fold to a raise, slow down to a call.

Push the turn. The pot is large & your hand, although strong, is still vulnerable.

BTW, I hate checking the turn. There's too many draws out there against you. You are likely best & you shouldn't risk giving a free card.

I hated how I played this hand throughout. I should probably have made it a bit more to go on the flop. Possibly even lead out?

Played as is, I really hated my turn check. Now I have no idea if he hit hard or not. That A[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] really made it hard. He eiher hit an Ace and thinks he's best or he hit the flush and I'm toast.

I think I need to bet out turn. Maybe 1/2 pot. I doubt he pushes with air if I'm so pot-commited. The funny thing is that if he does push, I am pot-commited so I probably have to call with outs to a boat, knowing I'm behind. Ugh. What a mess.

There's no need to raise more on the flop. You already made more than a pot sized raise. That's plenty. As I said, I push the turn. I think you should know why after reading my post & reading your last post.
