[ QUOTE ]
As to the original question: In the long run, you will make money every time you place a +ev bet, and lose money on every -ev bet. If you are capable of finding a large number of +ev wagers, then betting a small amount on all of them will keep your variance down, and allow you to get into the "long run" much quicker, making it a preferable strategy for most people. The danger in betting too many games, though, is that if you start putting money on games where you don't have an edge the -ev can eat into your profits very quickly. The obvious "correct" answer is to find as many +ev games as possible and bet them all, while avoiding all -ev games. And obviously, it's easier said than done. [/ QUOTE ] Couldn't have said it better myself. |
