How many of you bet alot of games instead of a few so-called "sure" games?

Doesn't matter what people here will bet as most of them are losers (at least on their on picks). You are more likely to profit by being selective as betting many games and being profitable means betting many marginal edges and only a skillful eye will be accurate enough to consistently identify the more marginal bets.

It's not odd for me to wager at least 10x of my bankroll a month.

How much are you betting (%) and how many times have you turned over your bankroll in total (adjust it for growth you have experienced)? 10x isn't excessive as long as you are profitable.

NCAAF: 23-12
NFL: 7-10

These are meaningless. Unless you have more significant records I'm more interested in what your total turnover, bet size and ROI are.

The obvious "correct" answer is to find as many +ev games as possible and bet them all, while avoiding all -ev games. And obviously, it's easier said than done.

this and be sure to temper it with RoR calculations--that is why the 1-2% of bankroll for units comes up

As to the original question:

In the long run, you will make money every time you place a +ev bet, and lose money on every -ev bet. If you are capable of finding a large number of +ev wagers, then betting a small amount on all of them will keep your variance down, and allow you to get into the "long run" much quicker, making it a preferable strategy for most people.

The danger in betting too many games, though, is that if you start putting money on games where you don't have an edge the -ev can eat into your profits very quickly.

Couldn't have said it better myself.
