Ongame how come my account was banned for what was said to b collusion with no evidece on your part, yet beanzo and 91litibias account were blocked for cheating with immense evidence which can be foudnal over the web and they are allowed back and often play at the same table? Funny how that is isn't it.

How can an attorney do anything then? I though the US govt considers online gambling illegal?

Before you drop any $$$ on an attorney do some research and make sure they have recovered clients funds in the past.

I used to play on that network quite a bit and never saw those guys play you when I was watching.. If it's happened to others maybe you could all band together.

Some (rather lengthy) comments:

1. We are fully aware that the structure of a poker network and its operators may be confusing, but the bottom line is this:

Since you were playing under another operator, paying rake to them– not us, when this happened to you Irishcurve08, we, PokerRoom.com, have no reason whatsoever to assist you other than the fact that players unfortunately believe we are somehow involved -a fact which we have to refute.

You were the customer of the site you paid rake to at the time of this incident and it is up to them to ensure you receive proper service. It’s purely by nickname-recognition that we can even conclude that you also are a customer of PokerRoom.com.

But, since this situation is affecting us negatively regardless, we have decided to lend a hand. More on that in point 3.

2. PokerRoom.com is not in any way affiliated with pokespoker.com or futurebet.com and we provide the services of Ongame Network on equal terms with all the other operators who are connected to that network.

3. Thanks to our inquiries to the network yesterday as to what this case is all about, a full investigation has been launched and the network has promised to deliver and official statement to you and the communities you have brought this matter up in within a few days.

4. All regular work within a network is performed, out of necessity, by the network itself. But that doesn’t mean that an operator cannot perform security related work on their own. We provide our users with a way of reporting suspicious behaviour or inquiries into their situation directly to OUR security team. That team then deals directly with the network to ensure matters are taken care of as swiftly and justly as possible. We have also released a PokerRoom.com exclusive Refund Policy which details how we intend to refund PokerRoom.com players in situations where the network has concluded that some kind of attempted collusion has taken place.
This means that whatever the network deems to be sufficient compensation, our players play under the added protection of OUR, even more generous, policy. Any deviancies between the two will be covered by us.

Unfortunately, we are not always made aware of high-profile cases until a decision is made, which means that sometimes we are unable to put our team on the case to help speed up the process.
This is something we are working hard on to ensure that we will be better at in the future, and the fact that we continuously scan forums on the lookout for cases like yours - and pick up on them, is a sign that we are in fact getting somewhere.

It’s logical to assume that a very small operator simply do not have the resources to maintain such extra routines. That’s a risk you as a player decided to take.

It’s absolutely true that our players certainly have been manhandled at times in the past as well. That’s the main reason why we even decided to set up our own security force back in May.
But NOTHING is more important than delivering a fair and just gaming experiences so the fact that people get upset about having their account put under investigation for a period of time (albeit three weeks is unacceptable, which we will inform the network of) is something we are prepared to live with.

5. Based on the above mentioned investigation, and if the network gives us the green flag, we will decide whether or not we see fit to re—open your PokerRoom.com account.

6. We have attempted to investigate the case regarding player “rsigley” but since:
a) He is yet to provide us with his nickname
b) The story keeps changing…

…we are yet unable to do so. If, in fact, it turns out you have been forced to cover extra costs in relation to cashing in a check from us, then we will of course compensate you for that and apologize in advance for this not being done before.

We’d like to thank everyone for reading this rather extensive reply and for providing feedback to it.
We look forward to hearing Ongame Network’s official response.

Sincerely,
