Tracking the rake by who contributed bets, and when, would be too complicated. I'd rather just see the rakeback credited to the winner of the pot. That seems the most logical to me. If you have a $60 pot with a $3 rake, the winner wins $57. So just give the winner $3 in rakeback, and it's like it was never raked off.

By the way, the current system if taking rake and giving it back is much better than just not taking it. You can really see how much other sites rape you and how much wsex benefits you.

WSEX GM:

Do you have any thoughts in increasing maximum tables to 6 or 8?

they don't support huds, and the max is 4 tables, that's why I don't have 100% of my play there.

If they did those 2 things I would put 100% of my play there.

If they only allowed 4 tables but supported HUD's, they'd get about 40-50% of my play.

As is, I only play there when I feel like playing heads up.

It is increasing just not as quickly as some would define increasing appartently.

1) Lack of all out advertising.
You can't watch a poker show without being blasted with ads for Full Tilt, Titan Poker, Mansion Poker, Party and Stars.
Full Tilt hade a booth with Poker celebrties at WSOP. WSEX was not seen
Celebrities, there is a reason these other sites pay name players money to sell their site.
2) Software is not familiar. And can be confusing.
3) Time of entry.
If you are the first into the marketplace (Party and Stars) you have an inherent advantage. Once someone signs up it takes a lot for them to move. And if they ask their friends where they play it will generally be Stars or Party.
4) Lack of ability to deposit via a checking account. This is a big one IMO. When Party first started almost anyone could use credit cards to deposit. At Party I can also autodeposit directly from my checking account, can't do that at WSEX. Most people do not have Neteller accounts, and if they do they aren't funded. Or they don't want to hassle with it.

No site will ever have the meteoric rise that Party did, though I do think with Rake Free WSEX will have consistent growth. (I think some of the other NEW sites will have good growth due to advertising then shrink when people see the offer nothing new - like rakefree.)
