Default Where do I begin?

Ok, I have recently won $USD 300 through live play, just a one off trip down to the casino. I have figured it would be wise to put it into online poker and build a bankroll (something I have always meant to do), but I have no idea where to begin.

Some people have said clear bonuses here, and there, and it is all a bit overwhelming. So I am just asking for some advice where you think the best places to go to merely beef up my bankroll?

I know some people like blackjack whoring, others prefer play, but simply, I am just asking for some advice, and some sites I can perhaps research at.

Thanks.
Rob.

First go to www.bonuswhores.com and find where some good bonues are. Next check with www.pokersourceonline.com where you can get some better stuff plus gift cards and other things. Once you hit 500 move to party/empire and then keep going.

Edit: First make a neteller account.

[/ QUOTE ]Hey

Yea, I have read them websites and have a Neteller account, I am rather well read and know the go, but there is just so much information out there it is rather overwhelming.

Maybe what I mean is, what would you do?

I've read several recommended books on this forum, I guess what I should of said is, what would you do? How would you go about building your own bankroll?

Just after advice

Thanks for the reply

$300 is a little underrolled for NL25, particularly if your not immediately a winning player.
Therefore you may want to play limit holdem to clear the bonuses, then move to 25NL when you reach at least $500.

NLHE was really all I needed.

I suggest finding a rakeback provider (PSO is good) and signing up at UB. Their bonus isn't fast by any means, but it does clear at NL2 and NL10. Eventually you'll get up to $500 and can move to the NL10 beginner tables at Party. Once you've done the Party and Empire signup bonuses chances are you'll have the bankroll to handle NL25 and can get further info from Bonus Whores.

# Decide whether to specialize in limit or no-limit hold 'em. See limit versus no-limit hold 'em for some thoughts on this choice. Eventually you might learn both, but to start you should focus your attention on one or the other.
# Play some online play money games until you know you can thrash them.
# Be sure to learn about rakeback and bonus whoring before depositing any money online!

I love how AKQJ10 comes in so many beginner posts with the wiki link. It's a great site especially for so many beginner questions, and keeps gettin better (as I understand mostly by the efforts of AKQJ10 himself). So I wonder if you have considered adding the link to the "Links for Beginners" thread? Kudos on the wiki site, keep up the good work.

Thanks, I'm glad you find it useful. After reading your first sentence I thought it might be a flame for not typing up original custom replies.
