Re: PS16: 2 hands vs same villain; tricky river shoves
There's no way you should risk 1650 to win t250 on the river there. I probably shove turn in hand 1, a Villain call on the flop means nothing.

Re: PS16: 2 hands vs same villain; tricky river shoves
In hand 1, there would be no tricky river shove to evaluate. Villain would either be calling or folding to a shove by me on the turn.
In hand 2, I'd fold. Flight_Risk |

Re: PS16: 2 hands vs same villain; tricky river shoves
i would fold on river in hand 1. there were 4 to see the flop and with ur flop bet u let people draw if they had 1 and every draw came. i would just fold with your stack size fwiw.

Re: PS16: 2 hands vs same villain; tricky river shoves
Hand 1 I'd bet more on the flop, then put him in on the turn. As played however I think I'd fold it.
Hand 2 is an easy fold imo. |

Re: PS16: 2 hands vs same villain; tricky river shoves
#1 as played i'd fold if i believed he was on the draw, i'd call if i thought he thought i was on some draw but saw my check as an indication that i didn't have the draw he thought i had.
#2 i'd fold |

Re: PS16: 2 hands vs same villain; tricky river shoves
Second one I'd fold for sure. Don't fight for a split.
The first one I just don't know. Seems like the $16 player isn't going to bet a strong hand like that, but I don't know. |
