This doesn't really pertain to this particular situation, but I saw something on M*A*S*H the other day that was kind of funny.
A random soldier needs a blood transfusion and he tells Hawkeye "Make sure to give me the right blood. Wouldn't want any of that darkie stuff, you know?" So Hawkeye used Iodine to darken the patient's skin while he was asleep and later had one of the black nurses come by and say: "Boy they did a good job on you, they got you listed as white." And the racist dude freaks out. Then Hawkeye comes in with a covered plate. Hawkeye: Here's your lunch. Racist: What is it? Hawkeye: Well it's just what you ordered, fried chicken and watermelon. Racist: I didn't order that!!! I thought it was pretty funny. They got him pretty good imo
